    According to colour psychology

    • Physiologically, green affects the nervous system, causing us to breathe slowly and deeply, helping the heart to relax by slowing the production of stress hormones.

    • With a multitude of greens so plentiful in the surrounding world, the human eye literally sees more green than any other colour. As a result, there are many moods that green can convey. A majority of people see green as symbolic of nature and “new beginnings” as green refreshes, restores and reaffirms that the seasons repeat in exactly the same sequence every year.

    • Green is the colour of prosperity and abundance, of finance and material wealth. It relates to the business world, to real estate and property. Prosperity gives a feeling of safety to green.

One important thing to remember is that the feelings evoked by certain colours are not necessarily universal.

If your favourite colour is green it probably means that you are a down-to-earth person with a love of nature. You are stable and well balanced or are striving for balance - in seeking this balance; you can at times become unsettled and anxious.

Having a personality colour green means you are strong-willed and do not like to be told what to do by others. You do like to win arguments and do not concede defeat easily.

Greens are generally frank, community-minded people, fairly sociable but preferring peace at any price. You can be too self-effacing, modest and patient, and run the risk of being exploited by others.

Cultural differences sometimes play a role in how people perceive colour.

In most of the cultures, green is almost unanimously associated with nature and the environment.
However, there are some distinctions between countries worth mentioning.

        • In China, green is often associated with infidelity. A green hat is a symbol that a man’s wife is being unfaithful. Green is also considered a sacred colour
        • In North Africa, green symbolizes corruption
        • In Japan, green signifies eternal life.
        • In Israel, green is considered to be a symbol of bad news.
