Green is a combination of yellow and blue, green encompasses the mental clarity and optimism of yellow with the emotional calm and insight of blue, inspiring hope and a generosity of spirit not available from other colours.

A majority of people see green as symbolic of nature and ānew beginningsā as green refreshes, restores and reaffirms that the seasons repeat in exactly the same sequence every year.

Green is the colour of prosperity and abundance, of finance and material wealth. It relates to the business world, to real estate and property. Prosperity gives a feeling of safety to green.

One important thing to remember is that the feelings evoked by certain colours are not necessarily universal.

If your favourite colour is green it probably means that you are a down-to-earth person with a love of nature.Ā You are stable and well balanced or are striving for balance - in seeking this balance; you can at times become unsettled and anxious.
Having a personality colour green means you are strong-willed and do not like to be told what to do by others. You do like to win arguments and do not concede defeat easily.
Greens are generally frank, community-minded people, fairly sociable but preferring peace at any price. You can be too self-effacing, modest and patient, and run the risk of being exploited by others.

- In North Africa, green symbolizes corruption
- In Japan, green signifies eternal life.
- In Israel, green is considered to be a symbol of bad news.
