Stephanie Cook

Stephanie is a contemporary artist living in the Inner West of Sydney. Her connection and love of nature is her inspiration for creating art. 

Her preferred medium is acrylic but also uses other mediums like pastels and watercolour. 

Her creative goal is to share her passion of art with the world and in doing so inspire in others what nature does for her, to create.

Stephanie is offering original artworks and limited edition prints to art lovers.

About the collection from the artist

This collection of paintings were created after a recent trip made to the majestic Snowy Mountains of NSW with my mum and collie Thor.

Having taken many trips to the snow as a kid to ski, build snowmen, snowball fight and drink hot chocolate, this year was the first time I got to experience ' the snowies' without 'the snow', and completely changed my relationship to the snowy mountains forever. 

Spending three days at a farmstead cottage with no reception, surround by wild life, bushland, birdsong, fresh air, daily sunrise and sunset views was more than enough to send me into a place of blissful inspiration and admiration of nature like never before. 

Each painting combines past memories of a simpler time, with new ones seen with fresh eyes capturing the colourful earth energies and seasonal phases of the glorious winter landscape of Nsw Snowy Mountains.
