'Blue Moon' portrays a young woman connecting with nature and her cycle. Eastern Rosellas, butterflies and a nest embrace and empower her. As the moon and natural cycles rule tides, they will also rule and guide women throughout their life and it is at this young age that the guidance begins; once in a blu moon.

Gailer’s creative expression evokes a sense of strength coupled with fragility; A delicate balance essential to all living organisms. It celebrates resilience and liberation and clamours for an urgent need to restore the invisible fabric that weaves together humans and nature; underscoring a main theme that looks at the complex relationship between fragility and strength, vulnerability and empowerment. Moreover her artworks can also be interpreted as a series of confronting tensions to articulate the essence of the Feminine as a force of relatedness in our world today.
