This hand-drawn, realistic portrait of a girl eating cellophane was made with fine crosshatching, using red, blue and black biro pens.
The artwork seeks to question social conditioning and overconsumption as a result. What truths do you just accept without question? What standards are you being fed, and do they have any sustenance? What effects do they have on our internal systems? Or is the information and ideals we eat as thin, inedible and see-through as plastic?
