About the artist:
Carla Heilig was born in Mozambique, raised in South Africa, and is now based in Sydney, Australia. Carla’s cultural upbringing has permeated her subject matter.
Her interest in the human condition, more specifically biographies, history, global movements, geography and identity inform her art practice.
She graduated from the National Art School in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Art and has exhibited in several group exhibition in Sydney and Brisbane.
