Description
The elephant is one of my favourite animals. I grew up learning about the ivory trade and how much it has affected this now endangered species. Being South African, I wanted to pay homage to this beautiful animal. This artwork is done with oil paint and gold foil, mediums I love using together because of the different textures and reflections of light on finished pieces.
