Inspired by a yoga festival, I attended in Joshua Tree, California many years ago; as the sun began to set, the rugged landscape was brought to life with colour.

About the artist:
Liz is a mixed media artist based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Her current work is a combination of alcohol inks, texture mediums, acrylics and mica pigments. All artwork is on an aluminium substrate. Each artwork is finished with layers of epoxy resin.
Liz’s love of Nature and the ocean inspires her to create abstract landscapes and whimsical seascapes. Her adventures and road trip through Australia and India, and memories of living in Greece in her late teens have influenced the direction her artwork has recently taken.
Liz sees the extraordinary in the ordinary and sees the magic of Nature every day. She hopes her artwork transports the viewer into a similar realm.
