Blue Inspiration Contest Entry

Artists are invited to submit creative expressions using the “Blue Inspiration” by Derivan Matisse.

The exhibition is held at THE SPACE gallery in The Cannery and would be a great opportunity to share some love for “BLUE”. As well as inspiring community creative engagement, the resulting exhibition will be a celebration of the artwork displayed.

Exhibition dates: 17 Oct - 3 Nov

Opening celebration: Sat 19 Oct - 4-6 pm

Entry deadline: Mon 11 Nov at 5 pm

Bump in: 10 - 13 Oct from 10 am - 4 pm

Bump out: Sun 3 Nov after 4 pm

• Entries must be no bigger than 30 x 30cm (including any framing) but can be smaller than 30x30cm 

• Artwork needs to use "Phthalo Blue" by Derivan Matisse

• Only work that can be attached to the wall will be accepted. (Provide either D-rings or 'command' strips) 

• Paper works can be mounted or framed

• All mediums accepted including painting, illustration, collage and printmaking.
