Bring the beach inside with this Australian Ocean Inspired Beachscapes Series. Looking out to the deep blue ocean you can almost hear the waves crashing onto the beach in this small but energetic work. A delicate, mediative series to evoke the relaxing, rejuvenating effects of being by the ocean. I have used light aqua, deep blue, natural sand colour and bright white.

About the artist: 

Kathleen Rhee is a full-time contemporary artist based on the Queensland Gold Coast where she grew up. 

Inspired by nature Kathleen expresses her love of light, form, colour and texture in her semi-abstract works depicting the Australian landscape.

Kathleen was a finalist in the Art Lovers Australia Prize2019 and her work has been featured on ‘The Block’ TV 2019 & 2020. Her work is sold all over the world and is held in private collections in Australia, America, South America, Germany, Switzerland, France and Sweden.
