Blue Reef

Blue Reef embodies an interplay of shades of blue and incorporates a textural surprise. The initial impression immediately calls to mind the colours and texture of the ocean and especially the reef. As an artistic metaphor, the blue spectrum evokes varying depth, emblematic of the range of human experience – relationships, the complexity of issues, our responses under different circumstances.  The darkest blues hint at the mystery of those unexplored parts of our lives.  And the texture of the mesh… that’s the net that captures… people, responsibility, and, most importantly, the imagination.
