About the artist
Dianne Brooks is an internationally published photographer living just moments away from the beaches of Sydney's eastern suburbs. She has been photographing her entire life, having started as a child with a Kodak Instamatic before moving to professional Olympus cameras in the days of film and now using the digital versions of both Olympus and Nikon cameras.
Her photography has always veered towards nature, flowing on to music and indigenous culture, her work taking her around Australia, from photographing music events such as Bluesfest Byron Bay, Womadelaide and SummerSalt Music festivals to creating a long-term project working with an indigenous community in remote area of Far North Queensland.
Dianne always finds herself back in nature with her love of the ocean and living so close to it keeping her constantly inspired and invigorated, never tiring of its ever changing nature which continues to fascinate her.
