Which Paper Should I Use?

For the best results, we recommend using 300gsm watercolour paper to ensure your artwork looks vibrant and lasts beautifully.

Here are your options:

  1. Print directly on thicker paper (if your printer supports up to 300gsm).
  2. Print on regular paper and retrace the design onto watercolour paper using a lightbox or by holding it up to a window.
  3. Let us help! Use our “Paint One More Time” service to get high-quality prints on watercolour paper, ready to use. Get in touch

Still not sure which paper to use?

Cold-pressed is great for soft textures, while hot-pressed works well for detailed designs.

Not sure where to start? Here are a few options:

  • Cold-pressed watercolour paper for smooth blends and soft textures
  • Hot-pressed paper for more detailed work
  • Yupo paper for a modern twist with vibrant colours
