About the artist
Rose spent several of her adult years as a photographer before she started visual art in 2017. In 2019 she became a Creative Artist Therapist. Rose creates expressionistic abstracts, that evoke a sense of freedom and adventure. Her paintings take you on a journey of discovery in every piece. Rose says that her paintings are to “inspire others to break free from the expectation of others, forge your own path and live a life true to you.” Her art creation process is bold and adventurous. She builds her pieces up one layer at a time, using anything from oil paints to watercolours. The end results, a mystery until it arrives and always a textural feast for the eyes.
