This body of work offered me the opportunity to switch off and enjoy the process of making art. Putting pencil and paint to paper is a great way to mentally have a break and create some happiness and colour.

Size: A4 paper - unframed

Medium: mixed media on watercolour paper.

Artwork will be signed on the back so they can be displayed in either portrait or landscape.

Artist statement

The process of painting is why I return day in, day out to create art. My art practice is an intuitive process utilising layers, mark making and mixed media tools to create my abstract pieces. I strive to be fluid and spontaneous in my work and love finding the little details in a painting that for me create joy.
