About the artwork

This artwork has been created with acrylic paint and ink on a gallery wrapped canvas and is ready to hang.  The organic circular form evolved slowly through my process of using multiple layers of transparent colour that grow in intensity as the artwork develops.

It is inspired by my fond memories of swimming in the Pacific Ocean as a child and is a translation of the energy and colours the beach where I now live.
