This painting is part of the river mouth in Margaret River. It is an untouched pristine landscape where the air is so clean it’s a privilege to breathe it in and to paddle on the shoreline.

About the artist:
After 30 years of perfecting the art of Chinese Brush Painting, I broke free from tradition. My practice now includes an array of materials and processes from fine sketches and watercolours to large scale acrylic paintings. My current work is more fluid and unrestrained than the regimented and ritualistic style of my previous work. My brush is just an extension of what lies within as it dances and dots across the canvas. So absorbed am I that I'm unaware of the process that has just occurred. Golden colours and shifting forms emerge slowly into view and the scene is set somewhere between reality and a dream.
