Inspired by the beauty of Australia’s largest inland lake, the salty pan of South Australia’s Lake Eyre. Most of the time, it is a lake in name only, usually dry with a thick salty crust with the surrounding desert and heavily eroded clay and iron oxide deposits.
The Salt Lake Series is the artist’s interpretation of the lake and surrounding areas stunning colour palette of pinks, orange, yellows and white.
