About the artist:
Frankie’s paintings are a snapshot of the urban environment that highlight the humour and beauty in everyday scenes in life. They are an urban narrative and social commentary of the place and time. Her paintings feature bright colours in acrylic paint with bold ink line work. The scenes are realistic, but not completely. Perspective is often imperfect; colours sometimes unexpected and exaggerated. Frankie turned professional artist in 2019, following the success of her first solo exhibition ‘The Sydney I See’. Her painting 'Village Corner' is the First Prize winner of the 2020 Paint Queen Street Art Prize and she was a finalist in the 2019 & 2020 Greenway Art Prize. Frankie enjoys working with clients to capture their memories in unique commissions.
