Theatre Box

This is a painting of my art deco girl Lois, who has featured in a few of my artworks. She is a fledgling actress in the silent film era and I like to explore the film industry façade of glamour in these paintings.

About the artist:

I am a Sydney based artist who has been painting over the last 10 years. My art style is a little bit Art Deco meets Pop Art, with a ‘stained glass’ look based on clean lines and blocks of colour. I have a particular interest in the era of the early to mid-20th Century, especially the cinema and the architecture.
