White Wash ll

Inspired by the land, sky and sea, many of the artist's works are abstracted visions and a combination of emotions, mood and intuition. Helen works with layers, building and scraping the surface until the painting evolves to a point where she is happy and feels the connection.

White Wash 2 is a reflection of her love of the ocean, the white-tipped waves, the ocean spray, the colour changes as a storm approaches, and the linear structure of the rocky platforms far below the cliffs where I walk. 

Painted over a collaged canvas, White Wash 2 is a journey and exploration of emotions beneath the surface, of finding calmness in life’s chaos and embracing one’s imperfections.
